The way to a man's heart

is buffalo chicken, i have found. i have began throwing some chicken in a crockpot with spices and sauce and the mister has chicken for his lunches throughout the week or we can top it on some greens for a tasty, buffalo chicken salad. 
Crockpot Buffalo Chicken
  • 2 pounds of chicken
  • 1/2 cup franks hot sauce
  • 1/3 cup coconut aminos (you can use soy sauce, but i am staying away from soy)
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • .5 tsp black pepper

put chicken in the crock pot, pour the remaining ingredients on top and let it simmer. once the chicken is cooked all the way through, break up with a fork. take a taste and see if you would prefer more hot sauce or not. let it simmer for another 30-60 minutes then serve.
can be served alongside vegetables, atop greens, or on top of a sweet potato.
